PanARMENIAN.Net - Information analytical portal GazetaSNG.ru and Fund for studying the newly independent states have held the first specialized research of CIS media space for revealing its real leaders - the most influential players in the information field of CIS. 3654 respondents out of 12 CIS countries participated in the poll, 67 of which were experts who are engaged in problems of developing mass media in the Post-Soviet area. According to the results of the poll Tiran Naghdalian, Chairman of the Public Council of TV and radio broadcasting of Armenia is in the top twenty. He is the eleventh in the list. General Director of ITAR-TASS Vitaly Ignatenko is the leader. First Deputy of the General Director of ORT and President of "VID" TV Company Alexander Lyubimov and Chairman of the Council of Directors of "Khabar" Kazakhstan agency Dariga Nazarbayeva - daughter of the President of the country follow him. Head of "Gazprom-media" Alfred Kokh (he is on the fifth place), General Director of ORT Constantin Ernst (seventh), President of the National Association of TV and radio broadcasting of Russia Eduard Sagalayev (twelfth), President of the Russian TV Academy Vladimir Pozner (fourteenth) are included in the twenty. Experts from CIS countries also mentioned the growing influence of the Eurasia media group and its leader Vartan Toganian. But his name was not included in the rating list of CIS media elite as his influence, although being significant, is indirect.
