THE WORLD BANK WILL GIVE ARMENIA $620 MILLION

PanARMENIAN.Net - The World Bank expressed its readiness to give Armenia nearly $ 620 million in 2001-2003. Prime Minister Andranik Markaryan told that the journalists after he had come back from France, where on 9-11, July take place the meeting of countries-donors dedicated to Armenia. He pointed out that $120 million of the total sum would be given to state budget. As "Arka" agency informs, at the meeting it was achieved an agreement on the holding in Yerevan the country-donor monthly meeting. Vardan Khachatryan, the minister of finance and economics will head the council. At the meeting will be totaled the results of the joint program implementing that, as it is expected, will increase their efficiency.
