Giovanni Trapattoni: we start anew in Group B

PanARMENIAN.Net - October 12 will feature Armenia vs. Andorra, Slovakia vs. Ireland and Macedonia vs. Russia Euro 2012 qualifiers.

Slovakia coach Vladimir Weiss is confident that his team will win. “This match will be important. We lost in Armenia but will not lose this time, as we were never defeated twice on end,” he said.

Ireland coach Giovanni Trapattoni will not make changes in the squad. “Three months ago I wished we topped the standings with Slovakia and Russia. Now we have to start anew,” he noted.

Russia coach Dick Advocaat said Russians are resolved to win, although it will not be easy.

Macedonia coach Mirsad Jonuz said that “Goran Pandev, Goran Popov and Darko Tasevsk’s absence is a tremendous loss, but we won't let it knock us out of our stride."

Armenia’s Vardan Minasyan said: "We played well and remain optimistic, but that doesn't mean we'll take it easy. We'll treat every match like a final."
