It reads that during a year Turkey clearly demonstrated its inability to implement reforms. “It is proved by Turkey’s attempts to set preconditions, aspiration to turn the liturgy in Holly Cross Church on Akhtamar Island into a political show and sacrilege in Ani Cathedral,” reads the statement. According to the party’s leadership, if Turkey does not ratify the Protocols without preconditions until April 2011, Armenia should withdraw its signature, informing the international community about it, on April 22, 2011, the day of suspension of the Protocols ratification.
