Aharon Adibekyan foretells qualitative changes in Azeri parliament upon completion of elections

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian sociologist Aharon Adibekyan foretold qualitative changes in Azeri parliament upon completion of elections.

As the expert told a news conference in Yerevan, Azerbaijan’s totalitarian system can’t last forever, in view of the vulnerability of social, political and economic structures in the country. “Azeri authorities are using Karabakh conflict to unify its society,” he stressed.

“Change of power both in Armenia and Azerbaijan will occur inside the structure itself, rather than through opposition’s efforts. 1/5 of Azeri MPs are either of Armenian origin or married to Armenians. I believe this part of the Azeri society will come to senses and attempt to establish relations with the Armenian side,” the expert said.
