Organization of all-Armenian forum of journalists and mass media in Artsakh important

PanARMENIAN.Net - Editor of Prague-based Orer (Days) journal Hakob Asatryan said that the 5th All-Armenian forum of journalists and mass media in Karabakh was of keen importance, as journalists from Diaspora had the opportunity to get acquainted with their colleagues from Armenia and Karabakh.

The forum provided journalists with the opportunity to establish ties, Asatryan told a press conference in Yerevan.

“It facilitates implementation of the ideology that Diaspora-Armenia information field should be interrelated,” he said.

Asatryan noted that under the current conditions of information technologies development, advocacy through internet portals, as well as coverage of Armenia’s and Karabakh’s problems in foreign media are important.

“Besides, organization of the forum in Artsakh is very important, as it provided us with the opportunity to learn more about the Karabakh problem, as well as establish cooperation and have own reporters in Karabakh,” said Asatryan.
