The 500-member group aims at promotion of Armenia-Turkey rapprochement. “I have made two visits to Yerevan this year and met with number of civil society representatives, politicians, and media people. After those visits we decided to establish a friendship group between the people of Armenia and Turkey, especially among the youth,” the head of the party’s PR department, Baybars Orsek told PanARMENIAN.Net reporter. “In that sense we organized a workshop in Istanbul on June 2010 and now we will be making the second workshop in Yerevan among the young political party members of both countries.
