Member of the Republican Party of Armenia Gagik Melikyan assured solidarity within the ruling coalition.

“There are no contradictions between the coalition forces, while internal competition between the parties should be eyed as usual phenomenon,” he told journalists on December 7.

Meanwhile, MP Vardan Khachatryan remarked that political and economic situation in the country is rather strained.

“If the authorities fail to take action to improve the situation, it will be hard for them to secure seats in the parliament during the 2012 election,” he said.
