  Members of European Parliament impressed by 21st Century Vandals: Julfa documentary  December 8, 2010 - 16:26 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - On the initiative of Armenian members of European Parliament (EP), EP hosted a screening of 21st Century Vandals: Julfa documentary on Azerbaijan’s extermination of thousands of Armenian khachkars. As the Chairperson of the National Assembly Standing Committee on European Integration Naira Zohrabyan told a news conference, parliamentarians were greatly impressed by the film which gave a true idea of the methods practiced by the Azeri authorities. As Ms. Zohrabyan stated, Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry addressed a protest note against the film screening. Armenian parliamentarians intend to submit films portraying Armenian pogroms in Sumgait and Maraghar to the attention of European Parliament members. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
