Stepan Grigoryan: increase in global interest towards Armenia has been observed

PanARMENIAN.Net - Karabakh conflict negotiations were resumed through the efforts of Armenian President, according to Stepan Grigoryan, board chairman of Analytical Center on Globalization and Regional Cooperation.

As he noted at news conference in Yerevan, the process used to be imitative in nature, yet, due to Armenian leaders’ initiative policy in normalisation of ties with Turkey and Karabakh conflict settlement, significant increase in Armenia’s authority and global interest towards the country has been observed.

Dwelling on OSCE summit in Astana, the expert gave high assessment to Kazakhstan’s chairmanship. “Not only did Kazakhstan manage to organize a summit, last held 11 years ago, but also a declaration was adopted within summit framework. It’s in our interests to help OSCE out of crisis,” he noted.
