On threshold of its 9th anniversary UNISTREAM honored with prestigious international awards

PanARMENIAN.Net - Nine years have passed since the day when first time money was remitted via UNISTREAM money transfer system. The results were obvious in a short period of time: 6 million transfers per annum, 200,000 service points working in 95 countries worldwide. In Armenia, UNISTREAM became one of the demanded systems and it is a leader at the money transfers market both by the volume and the number of transactions.

On the threshold of the system’s ninth anniversary, International Association of Money Transfer Networks honored UNISTREAM with SPECIAL AWARD – 2010. It was declared at the conference MTLS-2010 (Money Transfers London Summit 2010) held in November in London and dedicated to the current aspects of money transfers global market development. It should be noted that UNISTREAM was awarded with a diploma in Leader in Money Transfers Sphere nomination at the 4th Russian banking festival held in September in Montenegro.

High results of UNISTREAM system were appraised also by worldwide known company Ernst and Young. President of UNISTREAM system Souren Hayriyan was recognized as the winner of the Russian phase of an international contest - Entrepreneur of the year - in Finances nomination.

“The victory in this high-level international contest will be a good incentive for all of us working in UNISTREAM. Owing to the team spirit, we will be able to reach new heights and success”, Hayriyan said.
