  Conscription issues dominated RA NSC 2010 agenda January 12, 2011 - 16:21 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s National Security Council hosted 6 sittings in the course of 2010. As the Council Secretary Arthur Baghdasaryan stated, a number of programs were discussed and adopted, including those on development of armament and military technology, provision of border security, seismic safety and police reforms. Issues on preparatory works as well as organization of conscription were among the top priorities in Council agenda. A decision was taken to create a unified record keeping system for citizens and draftees. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
