Armenian Public Council to launch a 'green' movement

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Public Council intends to launch a 'green' movement to prevent destruction of green areas and plant new ones throughout the republic.

According to chairman of the commission for territorial administration, it's important to engage young people in the project.

“We should bring up a nature-loving generation,” Koryun Arakelyan said.

For his part, head of Nature for Generations NGO Ruben Shakhkyan informed that the organization has developed a program on reasonable use of forests.
