RA NSC: Armenia fulfilled major part of IPAP commitments

PanARMENIAN.Net - Secretary of the RA National Security Council (NSC) Arthur Baghdasaryan presided over a sitting of the interdepartmental committee coordinating implementation of Armenia-NATO Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP) in Yerevan.

Baghdasaryan noted that major part of 122 measures envisaged under the IPAP was implemented in 2010.

“Armenia’s cooperation with NATO as part of strategic review of defense has yielded significant results. Creation of the Center for Crisis Management, as well as adoption of the Seismic Security Concept and National Program for Tackling Cybercrime were of great importance for Armenia. It is necessary to speed up the works on development of national programs of reforms in rescue system, military and educational doctrine, improvement of the struggle against the organized crimes,” he said.
