The National Statistical Service of Armenia reports an upsurge in emigration rate over the last few years. As an expert at Armenian parliament’s social and economic department Sergei Vardanyan noted, 80% of Armenians leave the country because of social situation and injustice. “The remaining 20% leave in search of stability elsewhere,” the expert observed. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert.
