Artsakh President, AAC French Diocese Primate discuss NKR-Diaspora ties![]() March 22, 2011 - 09:31 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On March 21, President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan met with Primate of the French Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Archbishop Norvan Zakarian and diocesan chancellor Grigor Davtian to discuss issues related to strengthening the Fatherland-Diaspora relations as well as ties between the church and the government. President Sahakyan praised the important the role of the Armenian Apostolic Church for deepening cooperation between Artsakh and the Diaspora, “developing our country and forming healthy society at the same time noting the necessity of continuous widening ties between dioceses of the Armenian Apostolic Church.” Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan and other officials also attended the meeting, reported the Central Information Department of the Office of the Artsakh Republic President. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert.
