  Stepanakert airport location won’t allow Azerbaijan to shoot down civilian planes April 8, 2011 - 15:21 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The geographical location on Stepanakert airport will not allow Azerbaijan to shoot down civilian planes, according to a military expert. As Artsrun Hovhannesyan stated at news conference in reply to a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter’s question, “in mountainous territories, it’s technically unlikely for any anti-aircraft system to strike rival objects.” As the expert stressed, a stir raised by Azerbaijan concerning possible destruction of civilian planes is a badly organized farce, which merely aimed to test Armenia’s reaction. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit.
