PACE Bureau disregarded Armenia in reconstitution of Ad hoc Committee on Karabakh

PanARMENIAN.Net - While delivering a speech during PACE spring session, the head of Armenian delegation to PACE, David Harutyunyan accused the Assembly Bureau of disregarding Armenia’s position in the process of decision making on the reconstitution of Ad hoc Committee on Nagorno Karabakh.

“The Bureau has mysteriously lost track of the letter of the Armenian delegation and blatantly disregarded the position and objections of a directly concerned party. No one can seriously expect a positive outcome of a forcefully imposed process,” Harutyunyan said.

In January 25 letter addressed to PACE bureau members, which, for obscure reasons never reached the addressees, Armenian delegation urged organization of continuous meetings aimed at creating the atmosphere of trust and easing the existing tension between the Armenian and Azerbaijani delegations.

Ad hoc Committee is expected to resume work during the current PACE session.
