U.S. SUPPORT EFFORTS OF THE ARMENIAN GOVERNMENT AND THE OSCE MISSION TO ESTABLISH AN ANTICORRUPTION TASK FORCE

PanARMENIAN.Net - 09.02.2001, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Ambassador David T. Johnson, U.S. permanent representative to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), said that U.S. strongly support the joint efforts of the Government of Armenia and the OSCE office in Yerevan to establish an anticorruption Task Force.

Speaking at the OSCE Permanent Council, Ambassador Johnson announced the U.S. Government's intention to provide $150,000 in financial support for anticorruption initiatives undertaken by OSCE field missions. -0-
