Adventure tourism to be developed in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Head of the tourism project of the National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia (NCFA) Syuzanna Azoyan said diversification of tourism is among main goals of NCFA.

Currently, NCFA focuses on adventure tourism development. The development of this type of tourism will allow attracting younger tourists to Armenia, Azoyan told journalists.

She added that the development of adventure tourism is possible also through the assistance of the Southern Corridor strategic project.

Besides, the idea of rural family run accommodation is envisaged to be developed, as it is popular abroad, concluded Azoyan.
