Armenian PM: Azerbaijan needs political will for Karabakh conflict settlement

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia is interested in normalization of relations with Azerbaijan, RA Prime Minister said.

Addressing the World Economic Forum on Europe and Central Asia in Vienna, Tigran Sargsyan said that the OSCE Minsk Group is “now close to success and the Deauville statement issued by the co-chair countries is an evidence of that.”

According to Sargsyan, the Armenian side accepts the basic provisions of the statement and are ready to display political will to reach an agreement. However, he said, Azerbaijan, also, needs to demonstrate political will to sign an agreement which could serve as a basis for future negotiations.
