ARMENIAN SOCIETY "ISN'T REALLY ENTHUSIASTIC" ABOUT THE FACT THAT PUTIN PREFERRED TO VISIT BAKU FIRST, KOCHARIAN SAYS

PanARMENIAN.Net - 22.12.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. "The Armenian society isn't really enthusiastic about the fact that the President of Russia preferred to visit Baku first, and then Yerevan", Armenian President Robert Kocharian said in the interview to Reuters.

However, the Armenian leader noted, Putin's visit to Baku is "a question of Russian-Azeri bilateral relations". President Kocharian said also that he invited Putin to visit Armenia in 2001, and the invitation has been accepted.
