Who’s to take care of inactive churches in Armenia?

PanARMENIAN.Net - Know Your Country youth initiative members visited the 10th century Gndevank Monastery complex in Armenia’s Vayots Dzor province and cleared the monastery-adjacent territory of accumulated waste.

According to the statement issued by the initiative members, Echmiadzin is refusing to assume guardianship of thousands of inactive churches in Armenia; while the Ministry of Culture, justifying its indifference by lack of means, neglects its direct responsibilities – protection of Christian historic monuments.
