Lilit Mkrtchyan drops to 2nd place at Gyorgy Marx Memorial

PanARMENIAN.Net - Hungarian town of Paks is hosting a traditional chess tournament in commemoration of the famous physicist Gyorgy Marx.

In the 5th round of the tournament Armenia’s Lilit Mkrtchyan, playing with white pieces, lost to Alina Kashlinskaya of Russia. Currently, Kashlinskaya is leading the tournament with 3,5 points, followed by Mkrtchyan (3 points).

In the 6th round, Mkrtchyan will face Hungary’s Ildiko Madl (5th position with 2 points).
