ON NOVEMBER 28 THE OSCE CHAIRPERSON-IN-OFFICE WILL PRESENT IN VIENNA THE "CAUCASUS: IN DEFENCE OF THE FUTURE" BOOK

On Tuesday, November 28, the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Ms. Benita Ferrero-Waldner, in a side meeting during the Eighth Meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Vienna, will officially present to the public the new OSCE Freedom of Media publication, "The Caucasus: In Defence of the Future."

As Mediamax was informed in the press service of the OSCE, this new publication is the second in the "In Defence of the Future" series founded by the Representative of the OSCE Office of Freedom of the Media, Mr. Freimut Duve, and is entirely devoted to the Caucasus region, an important part of the OSCE family. The book includes Azeri, Georgian, Armenian, Chechen, Ossetian, Abhazian and Dagestani authors who write, often very movingly about how they envisage the future of their own region.
