Chairman of Armenian Cultural Foundation, specialist for monuments Samvel Karapetyan considers that Armenian Apostolic Church needs recovery in point of serving to people.

Karapetyan drew attention to the announcement of Yeghvard’s St. God Mother Church Pastor Ter Hovnan saying “We are open, let people come to us.” Whereas sectarians are always amid people ready to spread agitation, according to Karapetyan.

Chairman of the Foundation was wondering about the day’s arrival when the Church will make a step towards people.

Karapetyan also said that even those residents of Yeghvard who wanted a Priest in the Monastery, now do not want it any more. Yeghvard City Hall improved the territory of the Monastery, flowers were planted. To turn on the sprinkling system it was necessary just to push on a button to water plants. However the priest stated that he is not a gardener to do that job, and the flowers dried out.
