China, Ukraine get silver and bronze respectively at World Team Chess Championship

PanARMENIAN.Net - All matches of the 9th round of the World Team Chess Championship have been over in Ningbo, China.

Armenia won Gold medal in the Championship with 14 team and 22,5 personal points followed by China and Ukraine in a tie break.

China scored over Hungary in the last match 2,5:1,5 and with 13 points ensured silver medals. Ukraine took bronze after drawn match with Armenia earning 12 points.

4-6 places were shared by Hungary, Russia and U.S. Azerbaijan is the 7th in a tie break. Israel and India are 8th and 9th respectively; Egypt without points closes the tie break.
