11 citizens of Armenia adopted Georgian citizenship in July

PanARMENIAN.Net - In July, 11 citizens of Armenia have been granted Georgian citizenship.

Within the stated period, 116 citizens of foreign states adopted citizenship of Georgia.

In respect of this, President of Georgia Mikhail Sahakashvili has already signed a respective edict.

91 of those granted Georgian citizenship live in Russia, most of them are ethnic Georgians. Citizens of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Belarus, Egypt, U.S., Ireland, Turkey and Israel also wished to become citizens of Georgia, according to Apsny.ge.
