  Expert: Exchange rate to approach ‘psychological mark’ of AMD360/$1 in August July 29, 2011 - 16:57 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - If at the beginning of the week (July 25), the exchange rate of AMD amounted to 365,13/USD 1 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia, by the week end the national currency strengthened positions and the closing price totaled AMD 363 on July 29. Exchange rate of national currency will approach the ‘psychological mark’ of AMD360/$1 in August, according to Aram Kayfajyan , Director of Armenbrok investment company. “After which the volatility of AMD will stabilize (with ± AMD10 deviation) in case if it faces no serious internal and external shocks,” Kayfajyan told PanARMENIAN.Net reporter. “The situation at Armenia’s foreign exchange market is connected with increase of transfer volumes and trade balance positive trends,” said the expert.
