According to Minister Sergo Karapetyan, an agricultural market will open adjacent to Kasyan street in Yerevan on August 20 to provide rural residents with the opportunity to sell their products. “This will be a market for rural residents only. Should be initiative prove successful, similar markets will open in other districts as well,” he said, adding that the traders will be supplied with scales and uniform. ![]() ![]() Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”.
