Turkey kills around 100 Kurdish guerrillas

PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkey's military says its air strikes on suspected Kurdish rebel targets in northern Iraq have killed around 100 guerrillas.

According to AP, the military said in a statement posted on its website Tuesday, August 23, that some 80 other rebels were injured in the raids. The military said its warplanes have been striking at suspected rebel positions across the border in Iraq since last Wednesday.
