Botvinnik Memorial Rapid to host Levon Aronian, Elina Danielian

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian grandmasters Levon Aronian and Elina Danielian will participate in a Moscow-hosted event dedicated to the memory of the Russian chess legend, Mikhail Botvinnik, on September 2-3.

Along with Aronian, Viswanathan Anand (India), Vladimir Kramnik (Russia), Magnus Carlsen (Norway) will lock horns in rapid and blitz formats. Along with Danielian, also featured is a formidable female section with Humpy Koneru (India), Tatiana Kosintseva (Russia), Viktorija Cmilyte (Lithuania).

At Botvinnik Memorial Rapid, Aronian- Danielian pair will face off against Anand- Koneru, Kramnik-Kosintseva, Carlsen-Cmilyte pairs.
