Iran invites IAEA director general to Bushehr launch![]() September 6, 2011 - 21:13 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Iran has invited International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) director general Yukiya Amano to attend the launch of Bushehr NPP, constructed by Russian experts, the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Fereydoon Abbasi Davani reported. “We'll be glad to welcome IAEA director general along with Russian officials to the ceremony. Mr. Amano may feel free to visit any other Iranian nuclear facilities as well,” the Iranian organisation official assured. He expressed confidence in full security and reliability of the Bushehr NPP. “In cooperation with Russian experts we strictly observed all security requirements,” Davani said. The nuclear power plant will be officially put into operation on September 12, ISNA information agency reported. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
