Armenian Emergency Minister: Nov 9 quake caused no damage in Armenia![]() ![]() PanARMENIAN.Net - On the sidelines of a government sitting, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan asked RA Emergency Minister Armen Yeritsyan to present details on Nov. 9 earthquake. According to Minister Yeritsyan a 5.4 magnitude earthquake hit Turkey, Van province, and a 3 magnitude quake struck Yerevan. The earthquakes that rocked Van killed 7 people died; several buildings collapsed. On Oct. 23, a 7.2-magnitude quake hit the province of Van, killing 605 people and injuring 4152. 188 people were pulled out alive from the rubble. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed. David Vardanyan is the son of former Karabakh leader Ruben Vardanyan who who is currently imprisoned in Azerbaijan.
