NKR DEFENSE MINISTER ACCUSED AZERBAIJAN IN POPULISM

PanARMENIAN.Net - Nagorno Karabakh defense minister Seyran Ohanian called populist the Baku militant threats and accusations that the territories being controlled by the Karabakh army allegedly serve as a drug zone transit and a burial ground for nuclear waste. As he told journalists today, such steps by Azerbaijan are not novel and are calculated for getting political dividends. At the same time S. Ohanian supposes that resumption of hostilities at the Karabakh front is unlikely. In his words, official Baku perceives what the break of the established balance of power is fraught with. "In any case the Nagorno Karabakh army is ready to give a worthy rebuff to the adversary," the military minister said.
