Michel Sleiman: direct Yerevan-Beirut flight to promote bilateral ties

PanARMENIAN.Net - Lebanon President gave high assessment to Beirut-Yerevan ties, expressing a wish for his visit to Yerevan to promote their further development.

As Michel Sleiman said on Dec 8 in Yerevan, documents to be signed during his visit will greatly contribute to approximation of bilateral ties, specifically in the sector of tourism. “Thus, the planned establishment of a direct Yerevan-Beirut flight is the first step in that direction,” the President stressed.

On December 8, Lebanon President Michel Sleiman arrived in Armenia on the invitation of Armenian leader Serzh Sargsyan. A meeting with President Sargsyan, Armenian officials as well as Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II are on Lebanon President’s agenda. Also agreements, to promote development of Armenia-Lebanon ties will be signed during the visit.
