Turkish publicist urges Erdogan to provide jobs to illegal Armenian workers

PanARMENIAN.Net - Well-known Turkish publicist Mehmet Ali Birand urged Ankara to ratify Armenian-Turkish Protocols signed in 2009 in Zurich.

According to Birand, Turkey shouldn't have sacrificed itself to Azerbaijan's interests seeing as the West continues “blackmailing Ankara over Armenian Genocide recognition.”

“The Protocols must be re-introduced unless Turkey wishes to eventually damage its relations with the West,” Birand said.

The Publicist also slammed Erdogan's policy towards 70000 Armenians working illegally in Turkey, urging to provide them with jobs and grant citizenship, Hurriyet reported.
