PACE RAPPORTEUR ON KARABAKH REFRAINS FROM STATEMENTS BEFORE ARMENIA AND AZERBAIJAN COMPLETE ELECTION

PanARMENIAN.Net - Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe rapporteur on the Nagorno Karabakh issue Terry Davis refrained from any statements on the results of his visit to the confrontation region before the completion of parliamentary election in Armenia and presidential election in Azerbaijan. At a meeting with journalists in Yerevan he stated that any statement would have been interference in the domestic political life of those countries. "It will be wrong if anything said by me tells on the course of the election," - T. Davis said. In his words, he had meetings with Armenian leadership, parliamentary factions and groups, Nagorno Karabakh administration representatives, as well as refugees.
