EDB investments in Armenia economy total $80mln

PanARMENIAN.Net - Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) allocated over $80 million to Armenia’s economy from 2010 on, with plans to extend presence in the country, according to EDB board member.

“Despite crisis situation at world markets and general unavailability of capital, EDB, as a development bank, deems it necessary to expand investments in the face of odds,” Dmitry Zhurba explained.

Dwelling on global economy downscale, Zhurba noted that export-oriented countries are better able to cope the crisis.
