TALKS OVER IRAN-ARMENIA GAS PIPELINE CLOSE TO FINAL STAGE

PanARMENIAN.Net - In the course of the recent negotiations between the minister of energy of Armenia and the minister of oil of Iran over the building of Iran-Armenia gas pipeline moved forward several steps, Armenian ambassador to Iran Gegham Gharibjanian stated yesterday, "RusEnergy" agency reported. In his words, both the minister of energy of Armenia and the Armenian-Iranian working group, which lately returned from Iran to Armenia, hold active talks on defining the formula of the gas price - the main obstacle on the way of realization of the project in question. After the parties come to an agreement over that issue, the construction itself will take an insignificant time span, G. Gharibjanian concluded.
