Sargsyan, Aliyev ready to speed up agreement on Karabakh issue![]() ![]() PanARMENIAN.Net - Considering the importance of shifting to development of peace agreement, Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan expressed readiness to expedite reaching an agreement on Basic principles, Serzh Sargsyan, Dmitry Medvedev and Ilham Aliyev said in joint statement, based on the outcomes of their meeting on Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement. According to the statement, the leaders discussed the investigation mechanisms of contact line incidents, considering OSCE observers’ latest report. The presidents noted development of humanitarian contacts between the conflicting parties as means to promote trust on Karabakh process.
