Free Democrats rep: no union with ANC or ARFD

PanARMENIAN.Net - Free Democrats party representative ruled out a possibility of a union between Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc or ARF Dashnaktsutyun (ARFD), citing radically different positions with ARFD and reluctance to repeat the experience with ANC.

However, as Alexander Arzumanyan noted, Free Democrats will be cooperating with Armenia’s political forces to curb possible election fraud.

In 2011, ARFD supporters, dissatisfied with the change of ANC political line and the launch of dialogue with coalition, formed Free Democrats new party, headed by ex-deputy chair of ARFD Khachatur Kokobelyan. ARFD ex-chair Ararat Zurabyan and former parliament vice-speaker Karapet Rubinyan joined the initiative.
