ARMENIAN FOREIGN MINISTER MET WITH NEWLY-APPOINTED NATO SECRETARY GENERAL

PanARMENIAN.Net - In New York Armenian foreign minister Vardan Oskanian met with foreign minister of Netherlands, OSCE chairman-in-office Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, recently appointed NATO secretary general. The parties discussed issues of Armenia-OSCE cooperation, regional problems, as well as details of Jaap de Hoop Scheffer's coming visit to the South Caucasus. V. Oskanian also met with US Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security John Bolton and discussed issues referring to an arms non-proliferation initiative.
