5,3% growth in Armenian foreign trade volume reported in Jan  2012

PanARMENIAN.Net - In January 2012, foreign trade volume in Armenia grossed USD 345,9 million (AMD 133,9 bln.), increasing by 5,3% compared with last year’s results.

During the reporting period, export volume comprised USD 71,5 million (AMD 27,7 bln.), growing by 0,4% compared with 2011 results. Import volume grossed USD 274,4 million (AMD106,2 bln.), growing by 6,6%, National Statistical Service of Armenia reported.

Among CIS countries, Azerbaijan was placed 60th, Russia 91st, Moldova 75th, Ukraine 88th, Kyrgyzstan 101st place.
In January-October 2014, the country’s exports totaled $1.250 billion, up %2.9 from last year, National Statistical Service said.
