IN COMING YEARS WB TO REALIZE 5 NEW PROGRAMS IN ARMENIA, TOTALING $75 MILLION

PanARMENIAN.Net - In the coming years the World Bank (WB) plans to realize 5 new credit programs in Armenia, totaling $75 million, said Roger Robinson, head of the WB office in Yerevan. In his words, before this July the WB Board of Directors will approve these programs. The first credit program of $12 million will be assigned for state administration reform. The second of $16.6 million will be spent on à reform of public health. The third program of $4-5 million will be allocated for increasing the administrative efficiency of the system of provision of pensions. The fourth program of $20 million is called to restore the system of drinking water supply in the republic. The fifth program of $20 million will be assigned for reforming the secondary and higher education in Armenia, R. Robinson said.
