Armenia, Singapore develop bilateral ties

PanARMENIAN.Net - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Edward Nalbandian who is visiting Singapore met his Singaporean counterpart K Shanmugam on February 28.

According to the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Armenia, the parties discussed issues on the forthcoming visit of the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan to Singapore. Development of bilateral cooperation between Armenia and Singapore in different spheres was also on the agenda.

Singapore's Foreign Minister emphasized that the first visit of the Armenian President to his country is symbolic and will further enhance development of bilateral relations.

K Shanmugam referred to the role of the Armenian community in Singapore's development.

The parties also exchanged views on a number of international issues.
