Stewardess attempts to smuggle jewelry

Jewelry was planed to be smuggled by Yerevan- Krasnodar flight, according to the information provided to police Zvartnots airport's linear department.

Stewardess Luisa Yeghiazaryan was detained on March 2.

The police disclosed six packages she was carrying in her handbag. According to Yeghiazaryan, she was given USD 400 to transport the precious items without customs control to Krasnodar and hand them to the owners.

Investigation is under way.
