Armenian ex-FM, IMF reps discuss political, economic issues

PanARMENIAN.Net - Former Foreign Minister of Armenia Vartan Oskanian met with International Monetary Fund (IMF) Executive Director for Armenia Menno Snel, with Guillermo Tolosa, IMF Resident Representative in Armenia present at the meeting.

Discussion of challenges Armenian economy currently faces, development prospects and forecasts was in focus of the meeting. The parties also dwelt on Armenia’s political situation and oncoming parliamentary elections.

IMF representatives further focused on regional issues, particularly developments in Syria, Iran, Russia and their impact on Armenia’s political and economic life.
