HUNGARIAN LAWYERS TO DEFEND AZERI OFFICER IN COURT FOR $10 THOUSAND

PanARMENIAN.Net - Sedeni and Colleagues firm of attorneys will most probably engage in defending Azeri officer Ramil Safarov arrested in Budapest for murder of an Armenian lieutenant. As reported by Zerkalo Baku newspaper, chairman of the Hungarian-Azeri Friendship Society Svetlana Abdullayeva reported it. In her words, the firm has informed her of the necessity for Azerbaijan to send an official letter of attorney for Sedeni and Colleagues, which would commission the aforementioned firm of attorneys to defend R. Safarov. At that the fee to be paid to the firm, also covering the defense of the case in courts of first and second instance, will make $10 thousand. In the opinion of the Hungarian attorneys, the legal process will be held in Budapest without fail and only after the final verdict the matter can concern its execution in the fatherland of the prisoner at bar, S. Abdullayeva said. It should be noted that the Azerbaijan-based Karabakh Liberation Organization intends to send two well-known Azeri lawyers to Budapest.
