VARDAN OSKANIAN AND JAAP DE HOOP SCHEFFER DISCUSSED PROSPECTS OF ARMENIA-NATO RELATIONS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Within the framework of Towards a Wide Europe: the New Agenda international conference in Bratislava Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian yesterday met with NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer. As reported by the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Armenia, in the course of the meeting the parties discussed the development of the Armenia-NATO relations. Special attention was paid to the murder of officer of the Armed Forces of Armenia Gurgen Margarian by an Azeri serviceman February 19. It should be reminded that both officers had English courses in the Hungarian capital within the NATO Partnership for Peace Program.
